Doodle: Some Oldies I found

I always keep a little red book for me to write and doodle throughout the day. When I was looking through them all recently I found some cool doodles.

Doodle: New Tattoo?

I had this bizarre dream a few years ago where I got a very strange tattoo. As soon as I woke up I doodled the image and was quite pleased! After a few years of tinkering I think I am going to get this tattooed in the next few weeks!

Insta

My Insta has been on point lately (if I do say so myself). Here are some of the best. If you want to see more, you can click on that huge photo on the right :D

Some Instagrams

Instagram is my favorite form of social media. I just love it. My sister (pretentious filmmaker) doesn't like it because it "makes taking images so base" (or something like that). But she's wrong and I love it. Here are some of my recent faves.

I just cut off all of my hair!

Contour drawings of the Sign Language alphabet

The lovely light that hit my patterns in the morning

A photo collage of my Winter Break photos

As I was driving to Phoenix to fly back to New York I snapped this amazing AZ sunset

"Sleep!" (a comic about the lack of it)

I made a wire earring hanger that sits nicely under my hat

Last night I ended up getting very lost in Brooklyn (but look at that moon!)

Instagrams

I love Instagram-- it's definitely my favorite form of social media. These are some of my recent posts (you can see all of them on the right side).

My door decs for next semester-- they are in code!

Ink in peroxide while I was taking a break from stick and poke tattooing.

Finally got rid of this vertical doozie and I'm now onto the twenty-fun horizontal!

The lovely Dylan.

Some really cool bones (European style) hung in a local photographer's studio.

Something Funky

This weekend I needed something to get my painting juices flowing so I decided to paint a print on this shirt. I think these faces are super funky but I totally love the outcome.

This is also a great song to get you into the Halloween spirit! Sufjan is great for all seasons. SWOON!

In need of inspiration?

I am. With all of the spreadsheets and readings I have to do my inspiration juices have been drained out of me. My current painting project is definitely helping though. I'm experimenting with style and it's lovely. I've also got an idea for my portfolio!

These lovely images and artists below are keeping me excited though. Enjoy!

Faces on Paper53

As I've mentioned before, I've fallen in love with this drawing app on my iPad. It is so fun to doodle with! But up until a few days ago I had just been drawing with my fingers on the screen and wishing I had a stylus. I randomly found one on my mom's desk and this is what I've been doing!

Daily Doodle

Happy birthday to Mick Jagger!

In celebration of his 70th, and in celebration of my new found obsession, I just drew his lips!

I'm totally digging this song, this song, and this song!

Enjoy the weekend!

Daily Doodle

Here's a pen doodle that perfectly illustrates why I hate to draw and why paint is just the most user-friendly medium! This doodle is far far better. More on that later.

But, this song has been stuck in my head all day. Vampire Weekend, you're too good.

And if you want some goofy fun check this out!
