I had this bizarre dream a few years ago where I got a very strange tattoo. As soon as I woke up I doodled the image and was quite pleased! After a few years of tinkering I think I am going to get this tattooed in the next few weeks!

Goodbye New York City
This city has been quite the adventure. Cliche, yes, but absolutely true. I am moving back to Arizona (for the time being) and I'm going to figure out my life from there. New York is draining and painful and the good hardly outweighs the bad at most times. But, I heard that you hate New York until you leave and then you can't wait to get back. Who knows? For now though, here is my farewell to this city that has seen me grow up (and perhaps pushed me to grow up even faster than normal). As LCD Soundsystem said, New York I love you, but you're bringing me down.
To see all of my New York posts click here or on the link to the right. This post has a compliation of my favorite photos from the past four years.
UPDATE: I wrote this post before I had moved out of my apartment and was feeling a bit bitter. Leaving has been very difficult and I think I will always be a New Yorker at heart. I'll just have to bring the city everywhere I go.
Until next time!

Instagrams
I love Instagram-- it's definitely my favorite form of social media. These are some of my recent posts (you can see all of them on the right side).
My door decs for next semester-- they are in code!
Ink in peroxide while I was taking a break from stick and poke tattooing.
Finally got rid of this vertical doozie and I'm now onto the twenty-fun horizontal!
The lovely Dylan.
Some really cool bones (European style) hung in a local photographer's studio.

Recap of October
I can't believe it's already November and I'm almost done with this semester. Time is flying by. These are some of the posts or pieces I liked from October!
My octopus still life that changed so drastically from this point. I'm still negotiating with a buyer!
From a winter trip to Sedona-- those oranges and reds are just too lovely! Prospect Park is the same color right now.
My beautiful sister from an excursion to one of my favorite neighborhoods. She's the best model!
My action photos in preparation for my action painting (the crit is today!).
The Farm-- my cardboard sculpture. This is one of the minis.
My gigantic wire arm that is still a work in progress.

Daily Doodle
I've been doing data entry and budget modifications all day at work (I saw the word encumbrance like three million times and I don't even know what it means). In between each bit of my reports I would paint a finger or do some of those outlines in blue. And the entire time I was listening to Regina Spektor. This is my favorite song right now!
